ABOUT ABOUT

In this workshop you will learn how to make a professional level wreath out of foraged materials found around the St. Augustine Area. There will be a brief overview and tutorial complete with tips and tricks of the trade, then you will be able to create your own wreath to take home with you. You also will be allowed one free drink of choice from The Kookaburra (excludes alcohol and kombucha). For this class (as noted below) you will need to bring your own pair of clippers/pruners. Feel free to also bring any ribbon, ornaments, pods, cones, or other embellishments you choose to add to your wreath.

We'll be creating our lush green wreaths behind the beach Kookaburra on the picnic tables behind the crave window.

The following items will be provided for you in this class:

  • Basic education on wreath making
  • Fresh locally sourced greenery
  • Locally sourced grapevine wreath forms
  • Local pine cones and pods
  • Wire and other fastening tools
  • Whatever nature provides for us as we forage to prepare for this class

You will go home with the knowledge needed to create any kind of wreath big or small for years to come as well as your own 20"-26" wreath.

What to Bring:

  • Clippers/pruners
  • Work/garden gloves (optional but saves your hands from sap and thorns)
  • Apron (optional)
  • Additional embellishments (optional)
